Javier Navarrete (born 1956, Teruel) is a composer of film scores.

His most famous score, for which he received an Academy Award nomination, was for Pan's Labyrinth (his second collaboration with Guillermo del Toro, the first being The Devil's Backbone). Navarrete also composed the scores for Whore, Tras el cristal, Dot the i, along with various other Spanish films. His other scores include 2009's Cracks (directed by Jordan Scott), and the U.S. productions, Mirrors and Inkheart. He is also scoring the upcoming HBO film, Hemingway & Gellhorn, and the sequel film Wrath of the Titans.[1]
